Mage Horde Leveling Guide

Stop wasting time and get that level and start being the one doing all the killing. After reading my horde mage leveling guide you will be well on your way to dominating your realm.

Let's first decide how to spec your mage for leveling. Fire is for sure the best talent to use for leveling. It does great damage to your enemy and it is what you need to survive. 31/20/n is the best for leveling and it is in all-purpose build. Lots of damage and lots of chances to get criticals. You will probably want to respec later to play different roles in battle, but use these specs to level as fast as possible.

Now that we got you specced out lets choose where to go level as a horde. First, it's best to do all the quest you can do until level 30. At that time you will be able to grind at Shimmering Flats but make sure you complete Scarlet Monastery and Shimmering Flats quests.

Then you can go level 34-35 at Desolace doing the kill quests and grinding on centaurs. At level 36 go to the Swamp of Sorrows and grind there until level 40. Now you can grind the elementals at Badlands Rock, stay here until you reach level 43.

Now it's time to go to Tanaris and do the Wastewater and Field Testing quests. You can also grind on the bandits while you're there. when you are level 44 Ogre Ruins is good for grinding until level 48. Then you can go to Tanaris and grind the Dunemaul Ogres until level 52. Then you can level 52-54 on the Firegut Orgres in Burning Steppes are very easy to kill and give decent XP. After level 54 Winterspring is the good place to grind.

The second you level up to 58 go to the Outlands, go through the dark portal and you will find hundreds of quests you can do to level. Grind and quest to level 70 and go to Northrend. Quest clumping and instances are the best way to level. You can do these up to level 80. Many have used this strategy to get level 80 in 4 weeks do you think you can do it?
